Федеральный военный трибунал по рассмотрению апелляций по приговорам военных судов, созданный в 1951. Членами суда являются пятеро (до 1989 - трое) гражданских судей, назначаемых Президентом с согласия [ advice and consent] Сената США сроком на 15 лет. Будучи юридически независимым, Суд административно подчиняется министерству обороны США [ Department of Defense, U.S.].
